A part-time speech-language pathologist position is available for the upcoming semester at an elementary school in Warwick, RI. This role supports students primarily in PreK, with occasional support for grades 1 through 3. Working onsite Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, this contract opportunity extends from January 5, 2026, through June 15, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students with diverse communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state license and educator credential for speech-language pathology
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to work with early childhood and elementary-aged children
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
